| There are three major ingredients necessary to transform dreams of a musical career into reality, those being Beauty, Talent, and Desire. This young lady from deep in the heart of Texas has all three and she has used those resources to launch herself on a star-bound career as a Country Music artist. Dana Haas, born in Houston twenty-four years ago, was raised in the area around Tomball. Dana is Texan through and through and has been entertaining audiences all over Texas and Louisiana for the past seven years. "Love Is", her first CD containing six original songs from a host of writers, was released in 2001, receiving Grammy nominations for both the album and the song "My Ex-boyfriend Hall Of Fame". Dana has been performing with a very exciting and multi-talented group of musicians called SIXGUN (sixgunband.com), most recently appearing with Trick Pony, Kevin Fowler, Bellamy Brothers, Deryl Dodd and Billy Currington. She has re-recorded some of the songs from her "Love Is" CD on their self-titled debut album. |
